Company Overview
Waterton Global Resource Management, Inc. is a private mining firm specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of mining assets worldwide. The company adopts a hands-on technical approach to oversee its portfolio, supporting active mines and development projects with engineering, operational enhancements, and project management.
Currently, Waterton supports an operational base metal concentrator and a substantial gold heap leach project in the United States. Its technical team collaborates with site operations, engineering consultants, and corporate stakeholders to maximize asset performance and facilitate project advancement through engineering, construction, and operations.
Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding team. This role suits early to mid-career professionals who have experience in a fast-paced recruitment agency and have transitioned to corporate recruitment roles. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assembling teams across various business units by partnering closely with leadership to identify and attract high-quality talent.
This position is based in Toronto with a hybrid work model and requires occasional travel to the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes across diverse roles including corporate, operational, and technical positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Actively source and engage with qualified candidates through various channels.
- Maintain candidate pipelines ensuring a professional and attentive recruitment experience.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and organize interviews.
- Develop and nurture talent pools to support current and future hiring demands.
- Enhance employer branding and drive continuous improvements in recruitment processes.
- Travel to the U.S. as necessary to assist with hiring activities and on-site interviews.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing full recruitment cycles.
- Experience in agency recruitment along with in-house recruiting preferred.
- Capability to handle several recruitment projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Strong aptitude in candidate sourcing and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail supported by robust organizational abilities.
- Availability and willingness to travel internationally to the United States.
