Position Overview

We seek a meticulous and committed Surveyor to join our team, responsible for executing site surveys, setting out tasks, and ensuring construction activities adhere precisely to approved plans and project specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys, measurements, and layout work following approved drawings and specifications.
• Establish and confirm control points, benchmarks, grid lines, and reference heights.
• Guarantee precision in all surveying tasks prior to the start of construction work.
• Monitor and verify dimensions, levels, coordinates, and alignments throughout the building process.
• Conduct as-built surveys and compile detailed records upon project completion.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth construction progress.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.
• Address and resolve any inconsistencies between drawings and on-site conditions.
• Coordinate surveying tasks with stakeholders including consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Track construction progress to ensure design compliance.
• Conduct dimensional inspections to verify adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Document survey results through reports, field notes, and measurement records.
• Promptly identify and report any deviations or issues.
• Support the maintenance of quality assurance documentation.
• Operate and upkeep surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS devices, automatic and digital levels, and laser measurement tools.
• Ensure all surveying equipment is properly calibrated and functional.
• Manage survey data diligently and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Adhere to all workplace safety standards and company policies.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and site safety briefings regularly.
• Conduct surveying activities safely, minimizing disruption to ongoing site operations.
• Maintain accurate records in alignment with project and regulatory demands.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Have 2 to 5 years of experience in surveying for building, infrastructure, or construction projects; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Hands-on experience operating Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and leveling instruments.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other surveying software is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of construction techniques and site operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Capable of working autonomously within a fast-paced construction setting.
