Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and seasoned Surveyor to lead field survey operations, manage spatial data gathering, and oversee layout controls on extensive infrastructure and mass earthworks projects. The role demands precise setting of project boundaries, conducting topographical surveys, overseeing excavation and fill levels, and accurate earthwork volume computations in collaboration with site engineers and technical office personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographical surveys, establish control points, and verify site boundaries necessary for site preparation and large-scale earthworks.
• Set out grid lines, levels, and gradients for excavation, backfilling, compaction, and grading activities.
• Perform periodic survey measurements to calculate earthwork volumes (cut and fill) and update surface models.
• Operate and maintain advanced surveying equipment such as GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, and Digital Levels.
• Compile survey documentation including reports, cross-sections, and spatial data submissions for consultant and client review and approval.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Academic qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering.
• Preferably registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) or an equivalent professional accreditation.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other survey data processing softwares.
• Experienced in using Leica or Trimble GNSS GPS devices, Total Stations, and 3D Laser Scanners.
• Knowledge or experience in drone/UAV-based surveying is advantageous.
• Possess 4 to 6+ years of relevant experience in major civil infrastructure, mass earthworks, and land development projects.
• Strong command over soil profile assessments, volume calculations, and adherence to site safety measures.
