Job Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings with customers to discuss installations.
- Perform detailed site surveys to establish effective delivery strategies for client products and develop Risk Assessment Method statements (RAMs).
- Coordinate with the Installation & Technical Services Team to ensure surveyed works comply with agreed methods.
- Investigate and implement new delivery solutions for equipment and goods, offering expert guidance as needed.
- Review and approve third-party RAMs while maintaining records on the company’s RAM register.
- Provide briefings to installation crews for complex delivery and installation tasks.
- Carry out site audits on projects completed by installation teams, report on performance and issues, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and recommend corrective measures.
- Collaborate closely with the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager to keep RAM documentation in line with legislation changes.
- Travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, as part of the role.
- Undertake any additional duties as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in site surveying is essential.
- A valid full UK driving licence is mandatory.
- Proficiency with IT devices such as personal computers, laptops, PDAs, and tablets.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety Legislation is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to tasks with a proactive and positive attitude.
