Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner based in Princeton, NJ, responsible for ensuring inventory planning for all prescription (Rx) and specialty prescription (SRx) products align with market demand. This position works closely with the Lead Supply Chain Planner to oversee supply planning activities, aiming for uninterrupted product availability in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory planning for all Rx and SRx products to meet customer demand effectively.
  • Oversee the logistics from production through to final customer delivery to guarantee smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track supply chain performance.
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize excess stock while fulfilling customer orders promptly.
  • Collaborate with project management, marketing, and procurement departments to ensure timely launch of new products and SKUs.
  • Coordinate daily with external manufacturing and quality assurance teams to facilitate batch releases.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reconciliations with UPS, obtaining necessary approvals and managing systematic adjustments for product destruction and write-offs.
  • Ensure all master data setups comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) standards.
  • Work with customer service and quality departments to handle returned products and determine their disposition.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain planning.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA and Kinaxis planning tools.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across various teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
