Key Responsibilities

• Lead the supply chain and procurement activities at the Crottendorf manufacturing site, serving as subject matter expert and team lead.
• Provide training and ongoing daily support on SAP systems concerning purchasing, planning, production, and inventory management across PELI EMEAI production sites.
• Manage procurement master data and MRP signals within the ERP system, fostering strong vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery through contract negotiation assistance.
• Engage in cost reduction initiatives, conduct supplier audits, generate performance reports, and facilitate corrective measures as needed.
• Support supply chain risk evaluations, source development, contract negotiations, and verify vendor adherence to quality, environmental standards, legal compliance, and ethical procurement practices.
• Optimize material inventories and handling through lot sizing, safety stock strategies, and standardizing packaging and labeling procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Operations to maintain a steady flow of quality products within PELI EMEAI manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• At least five years of relevant experience in purchasing, production, or planning, ideally with CIPS certification.
• Proficiency in SAP modules including MRP, PTP, PP, MM, WM/IM, alongside strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
• Fluency in English and German with excellent communication and presentation capabilities; additional language skills, such as Czech, are advantageous.
• Capacity to engage effectively with executives, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders internationally, building robust professional relationships.
• Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and multitasking skills suitable for a dynamic environment with concurrent projects.
• Ability to resolve challenges related to costs, quality, delivery timelines, and payments, plus experience driving cost-saving strategies.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and specifications, as well as knowledge of roto-molding, injection molding, and Pelican case assembly is desirable.
