Role overview

Pandora is seeking a retail Supervisor to help run the sales floor, guide a team of sales assistants, and deliver a memorable in-store experience. This role is suited to someone who enjoys a busy retail setting, is confident leading others, and is motivated by sales performance and excellent customer service.

The position is based in Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland and is a permanent full-time opportunity for 39 hours per week. Work is required across all days of the week, including Monday through Sunday.

Pay and benefits

The hourly rate is €16.97. In addition, the package includes a monthly bonus scheme with 10% paid when sales targets are met and up to 20% when stretch targets are achieved, plus other benefits such as a generous employee discount, an annual jewellery uniform allowance, wear-box access, retail/hospitality/entertainment discounts through the benefits platform, support services through Retail Trust, and parties, incentives, gifts, training and career growth opportunities.

What you will do

You will lead by example on the shop floor, support the team in hitting KPIs, manage daily store activity, and contribute to sales growth. The role also involves handling customer issues professionally, supporting store operations, and helping maintain a safe and well-run environment.

Sales floor leadership

• Run daily team briefings, share key store metrics, and keep the team focused on performance targets.
• Set the tone for excellent service by demonstrating Pandora’s selling approach and helping the store perform against KPIs.
• Carry out store walks, assess commercial presentation, and understand how merchandising affects sales.
• Track sales results and take practical steps to improve team performance.
• Deal with serious customer complaints that have been escalated, using a calm and professional approach.

Personal selling

• Strengthen customer loyalty by answering questions, offering tailored service, and adapting your style to different customer needs.
• Use strong product knowledge and storytelling to create memorable experiences and build interest in Pandora’s design, craftsmanship, and sustainability focus.
• Work toward and surpass individual and store targets through effective selling, including upselling, UPT, ATV, conversion, and productivity.

Store operations

• Act as a key holder and complete opening and closing procedures correctly.
• Count the till, balance cash, and reconcile payment systems.
• Support management with administrative work, including recruitment tasks and, where needed, investigations and disciplinary hearings.
• Help receive product and POS deliveries, unload stock, and place items in the correct storage areas.
• Operate the till, process transactions such as returns and exchanges, and support the wider team with escalations.
• Stay alert on the shop floor and follow security procedures to help protect customers and colleagues.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will be a capable and enthusiastic team player who can represent the Pandora brand well and help create a standout store experience. Experience with a recognised brand or in desirable consumer retail is preferred, and this could suit a senior sales assistant or an existing supervisor seeking a new challenge.
