Structural QC Inspector

About the Role

Esnad Roads Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Civil QC Inspector to join their project team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and verifying the quality of various civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of civil construction activities such as excavation, backfilling, compaction, concrete works, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, finishing, and other related tasks.
• Ensure all work conforms to approved IFC drawings, project specifications, Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Inspect and verify that materials delivered match approved submittals and project requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) with Consultants and Clients.
• Oversee and coordinate field and laboratory tests, including tests on soil, concrete, reinforcement, and various civil quality parameters.
• Detect and document non-conforming work and ensure corrective actions are implemented in collaboration with the site team.
• Maintain comprehensive records including quality inspection reports, test reports, WIR/MIR documents, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and other related quality control documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience of 3 to 5 years as a Civil QC Inspector, preferably in infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of civil quality control processes, project specifications, ASTM and ACI standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Mandatory previous experience or approval in projects associated with Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, or Royal Commission.
• Relevant quality control certifications are considered an advantage.
