Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in Abuja and involves acting as a Stockbroker responsible for executing trades on clients’ behalf, managing brokerage accounts, and monitoring market trends to discover investment opportunities that align with clients’ goals and risk tolerance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out timely buy and sell orders for client portfolios.
- Oversee brokerage accounts to ensure accurate transaction management.
- Continuously monitor market activities to identify promising investment options consistent with client strategies.
- Provide clients with prompt investment advice and prepare detailed market reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and compliance documents.
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships via frequent communication and support.
- Respond to client inquiries professionally and coordinate with internal teams to deliver high-quality services.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in trading and stockbroking, including trade execution and market surveillance.
- Sound knowledge of investments and finance, capable of analyzing securities, portfolios, and financial markets.
- Understanding of brokerage operations, encompassing account management, regulatory frameworks, and trade settlement procedures.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a similar discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Possession of relevant securities trading and brokerage certifications or licenses as mandated by local regulations.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to clients.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-moving environment, juggle multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical standards.
