Static Security Officer - Lismore, County Waterford

About the Role

We are seeking experienced security professionals to join our growing team as Static Security Officers. This permanent, full-time position is based in Lismore, Co Waterford, offering a valuable chance to advance your career within a company partnered with global brands across diverse industries.

Work Schedule

The role operates on a shift basis including weekdays, weekends, days, and nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguarding individuals and property
• Managing and responding promptly to incidents
• Conducting routine property patrols
• Monitoring surveillance cameras (CCTV)
• Controlling access to premises
• Providing quality customer service
• Preparing detailed incident and activity reports
• Coordinating with management as necessary

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of Basic Guarding Skills certification - QQI Level 4
• Valid Private Security Authority License for Static roles
• At least six months of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written, at B2 level minimum
• Valid work permit or visa if applicable
• Basic computer literacy

General Qualifications

• Willingness to work on a shift roster including both weekdays and weekends
• Strong communication abilities
• Capability to work independently using initiative
