Special Education Support Officer

Position Overview

The Department of Education and Training is seeking multiple Special Education Support Officers to join the team at Nemarluk School in Darwin. These roles focus on collaborating with families, community members, and professional networks to provide exceptional educational programs tailored for students with complex disabilities and additional learning needs. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with families, community representatives, and professional networks as partners in education.
• Support and implement whole school approaches including the Berry Street Education Model, Read Write Inc, Meaningful Maths, and Structured Teaching techniques.

Terms and Remuneration

These positions fall under the Administrative Officer Level 4 classification with a remuneration package ranging between $87,843 and $100,149 annually. The salary component of this package is between $74,250 and $84,652 per year.
