Role Overview
As a Sorting Team Leader, you will oversee sorting operations ensuring adherence to process standards and accurate categorization of goods according to order information. You'll manage sorting equipment such as conveyors and scanners, maintain their operation through cleaning and inspections, and coordinate fault reporting to minimize downtime.
Additional duties include performing quality checks post-sorting to identify discrepancies such as damaged or incorrectly picked items, managing exceptions, and supporting emergency order handling. Coordinating effectively with packing, outbound, and other teams to optimize sorting routes and handover procedures will also be a key responsibility.
The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, including assisting the team leader with task assignments and participating in on-site 6S management to maintain clean, efficient work areas. JD Logistics nurtures an inclusive and diverse workplace, promoting equal opportunity regardless of background.
