About the Role
This position in Galway, Ireland, is a hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite attendance. The Collaboration team at Cisco focuses on creating innovative workplace solutions that seamlessly connect people, environments, and experiences. We design technology that bridges the gap between individuals to enhance collaboration, impacting millions of users globally. Our team thrives on mutual support and passion for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enhance the Agentic Developer Experience within Cisco Collaboration.
- Establish security standards for the Collaboration platform.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess developer needs and refine workflows and user experience.
- Contribute actively to internal developer tools and platforms.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development utilizing the GitHub ecosystem, including Agentic Workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or equivalent roles.
- Knowledge of modern development techniques such as version control with Git and collaborative workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools like GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Developer Portals such as Backstage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms: Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and cloud-native development practices.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Background in developer experience (DevEx) initiatives or platform engineering.
