Role Overview

As a new graduate software engineer at Notion, you'll contribute to shaping essential user experiences impacting millions. You'll independently handle meaningful, complex projects from conception through execution, collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams to define the future of collaborative work enhanced by AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to plan, develop, and deliver new product features from initial research to maintenance phases, such as enhancing onboarding flow adoption.
• Enhance system performance and reliability or refine existing functionalities, for example, improving spell-check synchronization or indexing attachments in search.
• Create internal productivity tools to streamline team operations, like automating the import of user feedback.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, with availability to start full-time before July 27, 2026.
• Prior internship experience in relevant fields.
• Developing proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.

Compensation and Policies

Notion offers competitive salary packages, equity participation, and benefits. Salary for this role in San Francisco ranges between $126,000 and $146,000 annually, based on factors including experience and scope.
