Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and trend-aware Social Media Content Creator to join our team in Abuja. This full-time hybrid position involves crafting and curating engaging content to amplify the DortDash brand across various social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain social media content calendars effectively.
- Create compelling written, visual, and video content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.
- Write attention-grabbing captions and copy that reflect DortDash’s brand personality.
- Produce short-form videos, graphics, and digital assets as needed.
- Keep abreast of social trends to develop timely and engaging content.
- Engage actively with online communities by replying to comments and messages.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze content performance, suggesting improvements to boost engagement and reach.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, designers, videographers, and marketing personnel on campaigns and projects.
- Innovate and implement new content ideas to expand DortDash’s digital audience and brand recognition.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in social media content creation, encompassing copywriting, visual storytelling, photography, and short video production.
- Experience administering social media profiles, scheduling posts, managing community interactions, and basic analytic reporting.
- Proficiency with major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube.
- Hands-on familiarity with design and video editing software such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or equivalent tools.
- Strong skills in research, creativity, and trend identification.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and spoken.
- High attention to detail with an aptitude for tailoring content to diverse audiences and channels.
- Previous background in digital media, journalism, entertainment, lifestyle, or content marketing is beneficial.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced hybrid work setup.
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based in Abuja, Nigeria, with a hybrid work schedule allowing flexibility for some remote work.
