Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Operate and oversee multiple machines required for manufacturing and service facility needs, under supervision.
Conduct inspections and repairs on centrifugal compressors, pumps, gas turbines, and gearboxes.
Perform visual, geometrical, and non-destructive testing and record all results in accordance with procedural and ISO standards.
Ensure quality control on in-process components, inspecting all parts post-operation and documenting outcomes.
Apply product preservation methods following established guidelines.
Identify and report Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) concerns aligned with per capita safety targets.
Carry out preventive and daily maintenance for machine tools.
Evaluate fixture and tooling performance, including rigidity and test new fixture designs and clamping techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and order through 6S and housekeeping for machines, workstations, and surrounding areas; contribute to lean manufacturing improvements.

Candidate Profile

Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; practical experience with mechanical machines is essential.
Preferred experience: Over one year in repairing rotating equipment like centrifugal compressors, pumps, gas turbines, and gearboxes.
Five or more years in manufacturing or service shop environments is advantageous.
Preferred expertise includes compressor and pump bundle/casing inspection, repair, assembly, gas turbine component repairs, machining, and balancing techniques.
Ability and willingness to work shifts (initially morning only, transitioning to 2-3 shifts) and flexible overtime.
Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn in a hands-on setting.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork capability.
