Job description
Job Location and Employment
This position is based in Lagos State and is offered on a full-time, onsite basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Accompany deliveries to designated warehouses across Nigeria as directed.
- Manage, update, and monitor the spreadsheet tracking open orders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all communications with Original Equipment Manufacturers and customers related to orders.
- Produce reports detailing purchase order progress, expected completion dates, and any production issues.
- Provide customers weekly updates on their orders, including estimated delivery timelines.
- Track orders from the initial placement through to final delivery.
- Inspect incoming orders to verify accurate quantities and correct products.
- Maintain updated inventory records for goods received.
- Prepare requests for quotes as needed.
- Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by office managers.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation sectors.
- Willingness to travel as part of job duties.
- Strong verbal articulation and proficient writing skills.
- Ability to work remotely from home up to five nights per week during delivery periods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of expediting processes and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership capabilities.
