About the Role
We are looking for a SharePoint Intranet Developer who will be responsible for crafting and deploying modern digital workplace experiences using SharePoint Online, Microsoft Viva Suite, Power Platform, and new AI tools such as Copilot and Copilot Studio. This position blends technical solution delivery with user support to foster increased adoption and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure SharePoint Online intranet sites including Communication and Hub sites, focusing on navigation, user experience, and content organization.
- Implement and customize Microsoft Viva components such as Connections, Engage, and Amplify to enhance employee experiences.
- Create custom solutions utilizing SharePoint Framework (SPFx) with React and TypeScript, integrating these with Power Platform applications.
- Oversee governance processes related to security, permissions, compliance, metadata management, lifecycle, and naming conventions.
- Provide multi-tier (L1 to L3) support, resolve issues, and facilitate end-user enablement through training sessions, templates, and best practice guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online modern architecture and seamless integration within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Viva Suite and Power Platform tools including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Proficient in SPFx development using React, TypeScript, and Graph/PnP APIs.
- Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and governance strategies, including Entra ID and retention policies.
- Excellent communication capabilities with a talent for engaging stakeholders and driving user adoption initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications related to Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform are advantageous.
- Experience in intranet user experience design, content strategy, and enhancing employee digital experiences.
