Overview

Lexicon Infotech is looking for a hands-on ServiceNow technical professional to work from Bengaluru in a hybrid setup. This opening is focused on the development side rather than support, with strong involvement in platform design, implementation, and integrations.

What you will do

  • Lead the solution design and delivery of ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, and CMDB.
  • Build and manage integrations with Workday and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, and BOT APIs.
  • Develop and support platform solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting standards.
  • Own the full lifecycle of delivery, including requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Review update sets and code to maintain quality, performance, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Guide junior developers, help remove technical blockers, and mentor the team on implementation approach.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to convert requirements into practical ServiceNow solutions.
  • Design integration architecture for seamless connectivity with external platforms such as Workday, Azure, and Okta.
  • Set and enforce development governance, best practices, and platform standards.
  • Investigate complex technical issues and drive root-cause analysis along with permanent fixes.
  • Assist with release management, instance upgrades, and routine platform maintenance.
  • Maintain CMDB quality, data accuracy, and alignment with ITIL processes.
  • Contribute to design and enhancement discussions for SPM and PSM as secondary areas.
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies and deliver work within sprint timelines.
  • Prepare and update technical documents, architecture diagrams, and knowledge resources.
  • Serve as the main technical contact for onshore/offshore teams and client discussions.
  • Support identity and authentication integrations involving Azure AD and Okta.

Requirements

  • Strong practical experience with Workday integrations.
  • Deep knowledge of REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, and BOT APIs.
  • Advanced ServiceNow scripting skills, especially JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Proven experience working on ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, and CMDB modules.
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices.
  • Exposure to SPM and PSM is preferred as a secondary skill set.
  • Experience integrating Azure AD and Okta.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and middleware.
