Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tool Store Person to join the Perth workshop team, working a 7-day on, 7-day off roster. This position offers an exciting chance to work with a leading resources sector company focused on essential global commodities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage logistics and tooling operations supporting the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Manage calibration and certification controls for tools and equipment with accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee tool tracking systems to maintain asset accountability and availability.
- Support procurement and vendor relationships, including purchasing and supplier liaison.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and service quality.
- Participate in safety and risk management related to tooling, including safe handling, storage, and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with Operations Services teams to support maintenance activities and optimize workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a current unrestricted Australian 'C' class driver license.
- Preferred experience includes forklift operation, tool store management, parts coordination, warehousing, or trade assistance.
- Highly desirable to have SAP (1SAP) knowledge and experience.
- Required possession of a high-risk forklift license.
- Strong risk management abilities and capability to address unforeseen situations effectively.
- Experience in coordinating scheduled maintenance completions.
- Proficient with intermediate computer skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills suitable for collaborative team environments.
- Committed to personal wellbeing and confident in advocating safety concerns.
- Focus on teamwork and achieving shared results.
