Job Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and maintenance tasks on heavy track maintenance machinery used by metro services such as the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC).
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to optimize machine uptime and performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems, implementing effective solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians during servicing and field operations.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation including reports, daily logs, and fault analyses.
• Uphold stringent safety standards and compliance protocols while working on-site.
• Interpret and utilize engineering diagrams, schematics, and manuals for effective troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), internal teams, and client contacts to ensure seamless machine operation.
• Manage the availability and timely procurement of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for maintenance activities.
• Support machine commissioning, testing procedures, and performance validation to assure readiness.
• Frequently travel across various project locations in India in line with operational demands.
• Work extended hours during urgent breakdown repairs or critical project phases as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Age range: 21 to 35 years.
• Diploma or degree holders in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Service Engineer dealing with industrial or heavy machinery maintenance.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting, fault detection, and root-cause analysis.
• Fluent in English and Hindi, both spoken and written; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
• Good command of computer skills, especially MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and design software is advantageous.
• Commitment to strict safety codes and disciplined on-site conduct.
• Physically fit with good eyesight, normal color vision, and acute hearing ability.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible or extended hours as the project demands.
• Experience with rail grinding machines or railway operation and maintenance equipment is desirable.
