Service and Installation Engineer

Role Overview

The Service and Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Hybrid Inverters and Battery Storage Systems. This role includes performing site inspections, ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures, and providing technical assistance to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot hybrid inverter and battery storage solutions.
• Conduct site inspections, testing procedures, and verify system performance accuracy.
• Identify and diagnose faults, coordinating resolution efforts with technical teams.
• Perform servicing of inverters and document service reports.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Offer technical support and operational guidance to customers for basic queries.
• Coordinate and oversee installation and commissioning projects for hybrid inverters.
• Review and verify installation and commissioning documentation as well as system configurations.
• Track project progress and maintain comprehensive records of installations, warranties, and services given.
• Schedule and manage installation and maintenance visits alongside field teams.
• Utilize remote monitoring platforms to supervise inverter performance continuously.
• Monitor system alarms and faults, engaging field engineers or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for troubleshooting assistance.
• Produce detailed reports concerning performance, operations, and services conducted.
• Maintain documentation in strict accordance with company safety standards and SOPs.
• Assist customers with basic operational inquiries, warranty registration processes, and service requests.
• Ensure consistent and clear communication with customers and internal teams for seamless project execution.

Compensation

The monthly salary offered for this position ranges between 16,000 and 22,000 INR.
