About the Role
TalentPop is hiring a remote SEO & Growth Assistant who can connect search optimization work to real commercial outcomes, rather than focusing only on rankings. The ideal person is detail-focused, naturally curious, and enjoys using data to improve website performance and support organic growth initiatives.
This opportunity is best suited to someone with practical SEO experience who wants to take on more responsibility in a fast-moving remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out keyword research, run SEO audits, and improve on-page elements.
- Support content updates that help increase visibility and search performance.
- Track website results using Google Analytics and SEO tools.
- Assist with backlink outreach and keep link-building activity organized.
- Help maintain site architecture, product pages, and Shopify-related SEO changes.
- Review performance data and turn it into clear, useful reports.
- Keep up with SEO changes and look for fresh improvement opportunities.
Candidate Profile
The company is seeking someone with at least 1 year of practical SEO experience, ideally gained in eCommerce. You should be comfortable using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Excel, and have a solid grasp of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO basics.
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and clear written communication are important, along with the ability to work well with remote teammates. The role also requires independence, good prioritization, and the ability to keep pace in a busy environment. Extra value will be given for experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Merchant Center, or Canva.
Technical Requirements
- A dependable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps upload and download speeds.
- Your own PC or laptop with an i5 processor or an equivalent specification.
