About the Role
TalentPop is seeking a meticulous, analytical, and inventive SEO Assistant to support its remote team. The company helps eCommerce brands grow through strong customer support and smart strategic execution, and this role sits at the center of improving online visibility for client brands.
You will partner with the SEO and Marketing teams to carry out optimization work that strengthens search performance and helps products and brands gain more traction online. This position is well-suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, values teamwork, and wants room to grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Run SEO audits, research target keywords, and improve content so it performs better in search.
- Assist with backlink outreach efforts and review website performance through Google Analytics.
- Maintain product listings, site hierarchy, and Shopify CMS content.
- Use tools such as Klaviyo to study customer engagement and behavior patterns.
- Prepare reports and keep current with evolving SEO practices and industry trends.
Technical Setup
- A dependable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps download speed is required.
- Candidates must have a personal laptop or desktop computer with an i5 processor or better.

Experience and Skill Expectations
Applicants should bring at least 1 year of SEO experience, ideally gained in an eCommerce environment. Strong command of tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Excel is important. Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Merchant Center is preferred. The role also calls for strong writing ability, and design skills using tools like Canva are considered an advantage. Success in this role requires initiative and comfort working independently in a remote, high-energy setting.
