Senior Recruitment Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a well-experienced Senior Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Building CO. (BEST) L.L.C in Dubai. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the complete recruitment process for both construction projects and corporate staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the entire recruitment cycle including sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, negotiating offers, and facilitating mobilization.
• Recruit a variety of roles such as engineering, technical, management, supervisory, and skilled positions specifically for construction projects.
• Utilize multiple sourcing channels including job portals, LinkedIn, recruitment firms, referrals, databases, and direct headhunting to find suitable candidates.
• Conduct initial Human Resources interviews and arrange technical interviews with hiring managers.
• Manage high-volume recruitment efficiently, particularly under urgent project requirements across various assignments.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified construction professionals for existing and future vacancies.
• Liaise with local and international recruitment or manpower agencies when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain recruitment tracking tools, status updates, and key performance indicators related to hiring.
• Coordinate with HR and PRO teams to ensure compliance with documentation, work permits, and joining procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of hands-on recruitment experience.
• Demonstrated expertise recruiting within the UAE construction and contracting sectors.
• Proven track record recruiting for positions such as Engineers, Project/Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, QA/QC personnel, HSE Officers, Foremen, Chargehands, and skilled labor.
• Deep understanding of the UAE construction employment market and labor regulations.
• Exceptional skills in sourcing passive candidates, headhunting, interviewing, negotiating, and communicating.
• Ability to manage multiple urgent vacancy demands and deliver within tight mobilization deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE employment laws and MOHRE processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a leading UAE main contractor or reputed construction firm.
• Strong network amongst construction professionals and manpower suppliers in the UAE.
• Experience handling both domestic and international recruitment efforts.
