Senior Python SDET

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python SDET with extensive experience in test automation, framework creation, and integrated system testing. The successful candidate will leverage their proficiency in Python, Selenium, Playwright, API automation, and CI/CD methodologies to guarantee the delivery of superior software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and sustain robust automation frameworks utilizing Python.
• Create automated test scripts employing Selenium, Playwright, and PyTest.
• Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Verify the accuracy of APIs, databases, and backend services.
• Seamlessly integrate automated testing procedures into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and resolve software defects in close coordination with development teams.
• Actively participate in Agile development processes and contribute to enhancing overall quality.
• Provide guidance to junior QA engineers and champion effective testing practices.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Software QA and Testing.
• At least 5 years of professional Python programming experience.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and PyTest.
• Demonstrated experience in developing automation frameworks.
• Practical experience with API testing and SQL.
• Solid understanding of System Integration Testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Exceptional analytical, debugging, and communication capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Robot Framework or Behave (BDD).
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter.
