Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst passionate about the future of Artificial Intelligence to join a dynamic team focused on AI governance and responsible technology adoption. This role, based in Liverpool, London, or Glasgow with hybrid working options, is distinct from conventional data analyst jobs focused solely on reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to developing frameworks, controls, and monitoring mechanisms for AI systems, data generated by AI, and AI-facilitated workflows as the organization integrates cutting-edge AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data governance methodologies for AI technologies and workflows.
- Develop monitoring strategies for outputs generated by AI systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex AI concepts into actionable governance frameworks.
- Contribute to establishing controls that ensure the responsible adoption of AI across the business.
Required Expertise
- Proven experience in data analysis with advanced skills in SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and models.
- Understanding of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI-assisted development tools.
- Background in data governance, data quality management, or data management roles.
- Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and solve complex problems without predefined solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of AI governance, model governance frameworks, and risk/control measures.
- Exposure to development practices such as Git version control, testing, and structured software development methodologies.
Additional Information
This role is ideal for candidates curious about how organizations should govern AI systems, data collection from AI agents, monitoring AI-generated content, and enforcing controls for ethical AI usage. The hiring team values professionals capable of bridging data analysis, technology, and governance disciplines beyond traditional dashboard creation or pure data science functions.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary packages go up to £65,000 for London-based candidates, £56,000 for Scotland, and £52,000 for Liverpool, complemented by performance bonuses, excellent pension schemes, and robust long-term career development opportunities.
