Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Oil & Gas

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and possess over 10 years of relevant industry experience. This role demands oversight of civil engineering projects from design review through construction, along with team leadership and project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate civil engineering designs and oversee construction operations to ensure project standards.
• Develop tender and bid documentation, carry out bid assessments, and coordinate activities with contractors.
• Analyze the structural integrity and estimate the remaining lifespan of existing facilities.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and management to facilitate project success.
• Lead and supervise engineering teams, monitoring progress and performance continually.
• Enforce adherence to safety regulations, corporate policies, and project goals.
• Prepare detailed technical and progress reports for senior management review.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus on civil and structural engineering.
• Proven expertise in structural engineering design and thorough review of civil engineering plans.
• Extensive experience with construction supervision, project delivery, tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor oversight.
• Solid understanding of occupational health and safety (OH&S), health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) regulations, permit-to-work (PTW) systems, and applicable industry standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary of AED 15,000.
