Role overview
The company is looking for a Security & Loss Prevention Officer based in Manjeri, Malappuram, Kerala. This is a full-time onsite role that involves substantial travel across South India and other operating areas as needed. The selected professional will help protect operations, reduce losses, maintain compliance, and improve control systems across delivery stations and dark stores.
Core responsibilities
- Perform inspections and audit checks at delivery stations and dark stores.
- Review shipment condition, inventory records, cash management, and adherence to operating procedures.
- Look into cases involving shipment loss, theft, pilferage, cash mismatches, and inventory differences.
- Identify and stop fraudulent behavior.
- Ensure teams follow SOPs used by Amazon, Flipkart, and quick commerce operations.
- Carry out inventory audits and physical stock verification.
- Lead investigations and prepare root-cause analysis reports.
- Deliver training on compliance and fraud prevention.
- Work closely with clients and other stakeholders.
- Support and drive process improvement efforts.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in Amazon last-mile operations such as EDSP or AMZL.
- Good knowledge of logistics and compliance workflows.
- Background in audits, investigations, loss prevention, and fraud detection.
- Strong command of English.
- Conversational ability in Hindi.
- Tamil or Telugu knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Open to extensive travel.
Preferred background
- Exposure to quick commerce dark store operations.
- Experience in Flipkart last-mile operations.
- Knowledge of inventory audits and shrinkage control.
- Prior work in security and loss prevention roles.
Additional information
Travel is a major part of this role, and the officer must be prepared to visit multiple operational regions across South India and beyond as business needs require.
