About the role

Marina Bay Sands is looking for a seamstress to join its diverse and inclusive team in Singapore. The position focuses on keeping employee uniforms in proper condition through repair, adjustment, and inspection work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out mending and sewing tasks for staff uniforms.
• Make alterations to uniforms whenever required.
• Check uniforms to ensure they remain in good condition.
• Handle any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• No formal schooling is needed for this role.
• Previous work as a seamstress will be considered an advantage.
• You should be able to carry out sewing and alteration tasks well, including hemming, repairing tears, replacing zippers, and fastening buttons.
• Comfort with using sewing equipment is required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail are important.
• A hardworking, adaptable, and coachable attitude is expected.
• All tasks must be completed promptly and efficiently while following company policies and procedures.
