Scrum Master

About the Role

We are supporting a leading retail organization undertaking a significant digital transformation and seeking skilled Scrum Masters to join several prominent delivery teams. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Agile methodologies across multifunctional product and engineering groups, ensuring the effective delivery of complex digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide teams on Agile principles and promote ongoing process enhancements.
• Identify and remove barriers that impede delivery, fostering high team performance.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and stakeholders to maximize business value.
• Monitor delivery metrics to aid in accurate sprint planning and forecasting.
• Support the expansion of Agile practices within a large enterprise environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in complex enterprise settings.
• In-depth understanding of Scrum, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
• Proven track record working with cross-functional software engineering and product teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience contributing to large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Background in retail, eCommerce, or user-centric digital products is a plus.

Contract Details

• Up to £550 per day competitive rate
• Initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension
• Chance to work on a major retail-focused digital transformation initiative
