About the Role
Soccer Shots seeks a dedicated and well-organized Scrum Master to become part of our expanding team based in Barnegat, NJ. This position focuses on advocating for agile methodologies and enhancing collaboration among various teams to achieve exceptional results. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about enabling teams to maximize their performance.
Responsibilities
- Organize and lead daily standups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to cross-functional teams on Agile and Scrum principles.
- Identify and eliminate obstacles that may delay team progress and sprint objectives.
- Monitor and report on team velocity, sprint metrics, and project status to relevant stakeholders.
- Promote an atmosphere of ongoing improvement, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to keep the product backlog well-maintained and prioritized.
- Assess and address risks to ensure sprint goals are achieved within deadlines.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a professional environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or a comparable Agile certification is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
- Exceptional skills in facilitation, communication, and resolving conflicts.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across dispersed teams and locations.
- Self-driven, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities efficiently.
