Salesforce Administrator - Consumer Platforms

Overview

Jackson Family Wines is seeking a Salesforce Administrator focused on Consumer Platforms to manage, refine, and expand the Salesforce system that powers its growing Direct-to-Consumer operations. This role collaborates closely with Product, Technology, and various business units to implement scalable Salesforce solutions aimed at optimizing business processes, improving consumer interactions, and supporting digital growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Salesforce users, including setting security roles, permission sets, licenses, and platform configurations.
• Utilize Salesforce declarative tools such as Flow, Lightning pages, record types, reports, and dashboards to configure and maintain the platform.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Provide support and enhancements for Salesforce and integrated consumer platforms including Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Order Management.
• Promote platform adoption by offering user support, training, documentation, and managing change processes.
• Monitor overall platform health, data quality, security, and user engagement; identify and implement automation and continuous improvement strategies.
• Contribute to release planning, perform testing, and help deploy new platform features ensuring top-quality delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Three to five years of direct Salesforce Administration experience within enterprise-level environments.
• Expertise in configuring Salesforce using declarative tools, including Flow, security settings, reporting, dashboards, and user administration.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements effectively, support users, document solutions, and manage platform updates.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Order Management.
• Experience with Direct-to-Consumer businesses, particularly in ecommerce, customer service, loyalty, or subscription models.
• Knowledge of integrated enterprise systems such as POS, PIM, DAM, ERP, or customer data platforms.
• Background in Agile delivery, release management, platform governance, AI, automation, or personalization projects.

Location

This position offers flexibility to work either onsite at the Santa Rosa, California office or remotely from California, Oregon, New Jersey, Texas, or Washington.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $98,000 to $125,000 annually, with exact figures depending on experience, skills, and geographic location.
