About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Roster Scheduler to join our team at Uniting Osborne, Nowra NSW. This full-time, permanent position (Monday to Friday, onsite) involves managing workforce scheduling to ensure smooth operations within our residential aged care service. You will work closely with the Service Manager, taking charge of roster creation, workforce administration, and payroll assistance to support exceptional care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily staff rostering, ensuring updates, changes, and compliance requirements are met.
- Generate and maintain roster reports to aid payroll processing and workforce analysis.
- Coordinate with the Workforce Coordinator to keep rosters current and easily accessible.
- Address inquiries from staff and residents' families promptly and professionally.
- Arrange meetings, facilitate training sessions, and document minutes as needed.
- Process financial invoices accurately and within designated timelines.
- Maintain confidentiality, adhere to privacy protocols, and comply with organizational policies and legislation.
- Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Business Administration, Customer Service, or comparable experience in rostering is typically required.
- Previous experience in staff scheduling and payroll support is essential.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, rostering software, and platforms like Work Smart Dynamics is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication abilities paired with excellent customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Well-honed organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and the Office suite.
- Competence in problem-solving, negotiation, and balancing competing priorities.
