About the Role
We are seeking a committed and customer-oriented Field Service Technician specializing in RO system installations and support. The position involves visiting various customer locations within Bengaluru to handle installation, troubleshooting, and customer assistance related to water purifiers and connectivity devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Address and resolve assigned customer service tickets promptly.
- Install and configure Wi-Fi routers and related internet hardware.
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of water purifier units.
- Diagnose connectivity and hardware problems ensuring effective resolution.
- Assist clients in setting up and using mobile applications linked to services.
- Complete service requests efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer support.
- Keep daily service records and update the status of tickets regularly.
Daily Expectations
- Handle and close a minimum of 10 service tickets each working day.
- Travel distances ranging from approximately 80 to 100 kilometers daily to reach service locations.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Minimum qualification of completing 12th grade or higher.
- Prior background in DTH, broadband, telecom, or related field service roles preferred; however, freshers with technical aptitude are welcome.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage customer interactions smoothly.
- Basic proficiency in smartphone use and mobile application navigation.
Mandatory Criteria
- Possession and usage of personal two-wheeler vehicle (motorbike) for field travel.
- Valid driving license is required.
- Willingness and readiness to travel extensively within designated work zones in Bengaluru.
Work Details
- Working hours typically span 9 to 10 hours per day.
- One compensatory day off per week.
- Service locations include Whitefield, HSR Layout, Bommanahalli, and Electronic City.
