Job Overview

This position is perfect for candidates excited by new products from major brands. As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will collaborate closely with store management to boost retail sales and implement customer-focused merchandising that meets consumer expectations.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, and capable of enhancing sales and brand recognition for our clients’ products at key retail locations. You will engage and educate customers about their upcoming purchases featuring some of the leading retail brands.

Responsibilities

• Meet client and company goals by ensuring full distribution of all authorized SKUs.
• Communicate effectively internally with management and externally with all customers.
• Increase sales volume through promotional activities such as building displays, coordinating themed product arrangements to support holiday or special promotions, and adjusting planograms as needed.
• Ensure all authorized client items are accurately labeled on shelves, and remove unsellable or expired products.
• Comply with client shelf schematic standards for item authorization, including following guidelines for labeling, rotation, and point-of-sale material placement.
• Manage stores within your territory efficiently to achieve client goals and execute projects and standards.
• Complete precise and timely documentation, including summaries, schedules, timesheets, expense reports, and other required forms.

Qualifications

• Mandatory education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: 1 to 2 years of experience in retail or food sales.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from CAD 46,000 to 48,000.
