Role Overview
The role of Restaurant Manager at Makani Beach Club involves leading daily operations of the outlet to ensure an exceptional dining experience. Collaborating closely with culinary and beverage teams, the manager will foster a seamless guest journey marked by high-quality service and atmosphere. This position calls for a dynamic leader passionate about guest engagement and proficient in wine, spirits, and international cuisine trends. Prior management experience in an upscale hotel restaurant or fine dining establishment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspiring leadership and effective communication to motivate and influence the team positively.
- Maintain strong presence and authority to guide a sizable, diverse team in a competitive market.
- Assume full accountability for restaurant service quality, food presentation, guest satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
- Uphold meticulous standards for culinary quality and presentation, enhancing guest experience through creativity and local insights.
- Coach and develop a multicultural workforce, fostering motivation and performance excellence.
- Manage employee selection, ongoing training, development, and performance appraisals aligned with company standards and strategic goals.

- Possess comprehensive knowledge of restaurant products, procedures, and service standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A college degree, ideally in Hospitality Management.
- Between 3 and 5 years of proven management experience in a luxury hotel restaurant or comparable upscale dining venue.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities.
