Position Overview
Calida Rehab, a prominent multidisciplinary mental health and de-addiction rehabilitation center located in Karjat, Maharashtra, seeks a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join its full-time, in-person healthcare team. The role involves 8-hour shifts with a monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹40,000, depending on experience.

Their team comprises psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, nurses, and medical professionals dedicated to excellence in mental health and addiction treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed physical and mental health evaluations of admitted individuals.
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans collaboratively with psychiatric and clinical staff.
- Manage patient medication regimens, including dosage adjustments and monitoring for side effects.
- Continuously assess medical histories, vital signs, and overall health status of patients.
- Assume clinical responsibility for patient care as needed.
- Provide immediate medical attention in emergencies, ensuring stabilization.
- Handle acute psychiatric or addiction-related crises and associated medical complications.
- Conduct daily rounds and oversee the medical operations within the center.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and seamless patient care.
- Support administrative functions including regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
- Engage in ongoing training, professional development, and mentorship of junior clinical staff.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical standards, infection control, patient confidentiality, and Maharashtra Medical Council regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Medicine: BHMS, BAMS, or MBBS.
- Hold an active Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) registration.
- Have a minimum of 2–3 years of relevant medical experience; prior experience in psychiatry, de-addiction, or mental health is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate proficiency in emergency medical care and critical patient management.
Professional Skills & Work Requirements
- Strong capabilities in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Organizational aptitude with excellent time management.
- Capacity to remain calm under stress and during emergencies.
- Willingness to work 8-hour shifts consistently, rotating as required, including on-call emergency duties.
- Flexibility to work at the Karjat or Pune centers according to organizational demands.
