Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode requires managing daily reservations activities including booking, updating, and confirming flights, hotels, holiday packages, and tours. It involves responding to customer queries promptly, providing accurate travel details, and maintaining communication through phone, email, and messaging channels. The executive will liaise with internal departments and external partners to secure optimal options and pricing, ensure reservation data is current in the system, assist with visa and ticket processing when needed, and promote relevant packages with upselling techniques. Maintaining excellent customer service standards and professionalism is critical.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with clients, colleagues, and partners effectively.
- Strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, capable of professionally handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Experienced in using reservation and booking platforms for flights, accommodation, and travel packages.
- Basic sales aptitude with skills in suggesting and upselling appropriate travel services.
- High attention to accuracy in data entry and organizational capabilities.
- Comfortable with computer systems, reservation software, and general office tools.
- Previous experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industries is beneficial.
- Educational background in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related discipline is preferred, such as relevant diplomas or degrees.
