Rental Coordinator

About the role

Sime Darby Fleet Services Pty Ltd, part of a network operating across WA, QLD, NSW and VIC, supports businesses by supplying and maintaining purpose-built vehicles that help crews work safely and reliably in some of Australia’s most remote areas. The Kalgoorlie branch is seeking a Rental Coordinator to act as the main everyday contact for customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
• Keep fleet availability monitored, updated and organised each day
• Handle all steps before and after vehicle rental
• Ensure rental agreements and related paperwork are completed accurately
• Check returned vehicles and prepare the required inspection reports
• Speak with customers about damage or missing items and resolve issues before closing the hire
• Work with National Sales colleagues on significant customer dealings and transactions
• Carry out general administrative tasks as needed

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in someone with prior experience in customer service or administration, along with strong communication skills, solid computer confidence and excellent attention to detail. You should be able to learn the business’s products and services quickly and present them effectively. A current C class licence with manual driving capability is required. Experience in the vehicle or rental sector would be an advantage.
