About the Role
Policybazaar Insurance Brokers Private Limited is seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative to expand our client base by devising effective sales strategies and securing new customers. This position focuses on identifying sales prospects, closing deals to meet targets, and contributing to revenue growth through client management and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets such as Annualized New Premium (ANP) and case count using diverse sales approaches.
- Generate new clients through leads, market exploration, referrals, and existing orphan customer databases.
- Schedule meetings with potential customers to analyze needs and explain product features.
- Adopt and implement a need-based selling methodology.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling within the assigned orphan customer base.
- Ensure timely policy issuance by resolving outstanding issues.
- Provide prompt and ongoing post-sale support across all relevant areas.
- Maintain consistent customer engagement to foster portfolio serviceability and persistence ratios.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors by strategizing and conducting joint sales calls when necessary.
- Forecast sales, innovate with unique sales strategies, and assess their success.
- Analyze customers' requirements and build enduring relationships.
- Research market accounts and follow up on sales leads diligently.
- Expand and manage client database within the designated territory.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in sales roles within insurance firms or Direct Selling Agents (DSAs).
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficiency in various sales techniques including pipeline management.
- Competence with computer use.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve results.
- Must hold a minimum qualification of any graduate degree or equivalent.
Additional Details
Work location: Cuttack, Orissa, India.
Salary range: INR 20,000 to INR 37,500 per month.
This position requires field sales outreach and close client interaction.
