Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Procedure Phase II, Evening Shift

Role Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Pre-Procedure Phase II, primarily covering evening shifts from 10am to 10pm. The role requires working onsite with no on-call duties, involving rotating weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments either telephonically or face to face prior to admission.
• Thoroughly review patients' medical records and histories.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia and various hospital departments to coordinate patient care.
• Deliver complete nursing care in compliance with institutional policies for patients undergoing ambulatory surgery.
• Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pre- and postoperative patients across all age groups.
• Evaluate caregiver effectiveness and uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduated from a recognized nursing program with an active RN license.
• At least two years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Preferred credentials include Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
