Role overview
Uber Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Regional Operations Manager in New York, New York for a full-time role. The position is compensated at an annual rate of $106,000 to $130,000 and may also include eligibility for the company bonus program, additional forms of compensation, and a range of employee benefits.
What you will do
- Shape, guide, and execute strategies that support key business goals.
- Track, analyze, and interpret operational and financial performance measures to determine priorities and next steps.
- Build a strong understanding of the business levers that influence results.
- Spot underlying causes behind risks and growth opportunities, then present several practical solutions and compare the trade-offs before recommending an approach.
- Set up, refine, and expand core analyses and operational workflows while continuously evaluating performance.
- Identify product features or enhancements that could improve marketplace experience and efficiency, assess their impact, and partner with Product teams to support launches.
- Work closely with internal and cross-functional stakeholders in operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to define, test, and roll out initiatives.
Experience and qualification requirements
The employer will consider candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline, along with at least one year of experience in the offered role or a similar position.
Technical and functional skills
This role calls for strong analytical ability, comfort working with data, and the ability to translate insights into business actions. Experience with Excel-based modeling and visualization, business data analysis, SQL, Python, R, or Strata, project coordination, and preparing persuasive slide decks in Google Slides or PowerPoint is expected.
Compensation and benefits
The annual base pay range for this role is $106,000 to $130,000. In addition to base pay, the position may qualify for bonus participation, other compensation, and benefits.
Work arrangement
This is an on-site position in New York, New York, though telecommuting may be permitted.
