Job Overview

This opportunity is for a leadership role managing regional operations within a multi-site healthcare and pharmacy network across the Western United States. The Regional Director is expected to drive operational excellence, growth, and financial performance by aligning regional activities with overall enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the P&L for the region, focusing on revenue increase, margin improvement, cost optimization, and capital distribution.
Design and implement strategies for regional market expansion, capacity management, and customer growth.
Lead and mentor Pharmacy Managers and site leaders, establishing clear goals and accountability standards.
Enhance operational processes by standardizing workflows and boosting productivity across multiple sites.
Use operational data to spot trends and gaps in performance, then apply corrective measures.
Collaborate with teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Compliance to meet business goals.
Influence investment decisions related to infrastructure and expansion projects.
Provide insights for enterprise-level strategies involving network design and growth opportunities.
Develop leadership talent pipelines and succession plans for sustainable organizational growth.
Ensure the region complies with healthcare, pharmacy, radiation safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain readiness for audits and inspections with consistent adherence to controls and policies.
Proactively manage risks by identifying, mitigating, and escalating as necessary.
Ensure all training, certifications, and required documentation are completed timely and accurately.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in business, healthcare, or related fields is preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
Proven ability managing multi-site or regional operations with full P&L responsibility.
Experience in business growth, margin improvement, and operational restructuring across distributed teams.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in regulated healthcare sectors.
Track record of developing leaders and enhancing organizational capacity.
Excellent business acumen and operational focus on profitability and efficiency.
Skillful in collaborating cross-functionally with diverse business units.
Data-driven decision-maker with insightful analytical skills.
