Role Overview
The Refrigerated Operations Site Leader position is a full-time, on-site leadership role governing the overall functions and performance of the Sharonville and Lebanon manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include managing production, quality assurance, safety compliance, staffing, scheduling, and employee performance to fulfill customer demands safely, efficiently, punctually, and within budget constraints. This role also acts as the principal contact for operations at both locations, facilitating customer visits, supplier coordination, and enhancing operational efficiencies for refrigerated vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing, quality control, and safety operations at Lebanon and Sharonville facilities.
- Meet and exceed set targets for safety, quality, costs, delivery timelines, and production output.
- Organize and allocate workload, manage production timelines, and communicate scheduling changes to leadership and related departments.
- Assess needs related to staffing, machinery, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Formulate and refine procedures, workflows, and production techniques.
- Track operational outcomes and implement corrective measures when performance goals are not reached.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and delivery commitments.
- Recruit, onboard, train, guide, assess, and discipline staff as necessary.
- Set clear performance standards and enforce accountability among employees.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns collaboratively with Human Resources.
- Audit and confirm timekeeping and labor submissions in Paycom, correcting discrepancies.
- Uphold company policies, maintain safety standards, housekeeping, and 5S workplace organization practices.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support operational objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a college degree in operations, manufacturing, business, or a related field is advantageous.
- Preferably at least five years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
- Minimum three years of proven supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in production scheduling, labor management, employee performance evaluation, and process enhancements.
- Strong leadership capabilities, communication proficiency, organizational skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities and overseeing personnel across two facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic timekeeping and production management systems; experience with Paycom preferred.
