Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project cost control from start through project completion.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Handle procurement and valuations related to subcontractors.

• Create detailed commercial reports to support project decisions.
• Identify potential risks and commercial opportunities in projects.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• At least three years of construction industry experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and commercial management principles.
• Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, and data analysis.
• Possession of a full Irish driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
• Membership or candidacy in SCSI or RICS professional bodies.
• Experience working with estimating software applications.
