Role Overview

The position of Quant Trader involves spearheading the creation of innovative models and trading algorithms within the fast-moving digital asset environment. Responsibilities include generating insights into cryptocurrency market behaviors and developing cutting-edge automated trading strategies.

Tasks may cover analyzing market microstructure to optimize existing algorithmic performance, architecting advanced computing systems, and formulating new data-driven trading models that address complex business challenges through quantitative and technological approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy leading-edge automated trading algorithms specifically for cryptocurrency markets.
• Perform comprehensive research and analysis to enhance trading strategies and risk management methodologies.
• Identify market patterns through research and translate findings into validated trading signals using backtesting and rigorous performance evaluation.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical capabilities.
• Experience coding for large dataset processing and analysis.
• Proficiency in software development principles and engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous involvement in electronic trading, ideally within foreign exchange or futures markets as a developer or researcher.
• Advanced software development skills, particularly in lower-level programming languages and Python.
• Familiarity with unique characteristics of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
