Quality Assurance Technician

Role Overview

Join a dynamic food manufacturing team as a Quality Assurance Technician working Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts. This position focuses on upholding and enhancing quality standards within a fast-paced production environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead quality and technical improvement initiatives onsite to elevate product standards.
• Review, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Manager to implement and reinforce new procedures.
• Perform routine hands-on inspections and quality checks to comply with internal policies and industry standards.
• Document audit results precisely and promptly escalate issues requiring attention.
• Ensure that all products meet customer expectations as well as site-specific quality thresholds.
• Adhere to the site’s sampling and swabbing schedules to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist in investigating quality concerns and contribute to effective corrective action plans.

Candidate Profile

• Meticulous attention to detail paired with a strong dedication to accuracy and quality.
• Thorough knowledge of quality management systems and food safety regulations.
• Experience and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a food production setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain organized during busy operations.
• Comfortable utilizing IT and digital technologies in daily tasks.
• Adaptable and flexible, with a guarantee of no weekend work requirements.
