Role Overview
We are looking for an analytical and detail-focused Analyst or Senior Analyst specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEPF) systems to join our Technical Assessment and Monitoring team within Risk Advisory. The key responsibility involves assessing engineering risks, overseeing site installation status, and managing compliance and financial aspects throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise project cost estimates and budgets tailored to complex MEPF scopes such as HVAC, electrical substations, low-voltage systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire safety installations.
- Possess in-depth expertise in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) estimation, specialized quantity surveying, and analyzing market rates for procured equipment and labor related to MEP works.
- Perform rigorous engineering assessments and validation of contractor invoices for executed MEP tasks and delivered equipment.
- Identify and recommend value engineering strategies in MEP designs aimed at cost optimization without sacrificing quality or adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct site visits to verify installation milestones, ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, and summarize technical observations into comprehensive risk reports.
- Oversee testing and commissioning activities such as pressure tests, electrical load assessments, and air balancing to confirm that installations meet performance criteria.
- Evaluate safety and quality control protocols onsite, highlighting and documenting any engineering non-conformances or spatial interference.
- Track sales MIS data related to MEP project milestones, monitoring invoicing and collections accordingly.
- Audit ESCROW accounts to ensure accurate financial tracking and compliance throughout the project lifespan.
- Apply knowledge of local building codes, National Building Code guidelines, environmental guidelines, and sanctioning timelines relevant to residential, commercial, and township projects.
- Manage project assignments end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery, process adherence, and coordination across civil and MEP interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with service consultants, OEMs, vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining strong client account relations.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in MEP project management, engineering risk advisory, quantity surveying, or certification of MEP bills in large-scale real estate projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient at interpreting complex technical documents such as single-line diagrams, schematics, layout drawings, and equipment datasheets.
- Tools: Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM/Revit for service coordination is advantageous.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and engineering interfaces simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of explaining technical engineering risks to non-technical audiences.
- Work Ethic: High attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
