Role Overview

The organization is hiring a Python Developer who can join immediately and contribute to backend development work in Chennai. The role calls for strong hands-on experience in Python and FastAPI, along with experience in APIs, databases, authentication, cloud exposure, and collaborative delivery in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Create efficient REST APIs and microservices, and improve their performance where needed.
• Connect external services and database systems into the application stack.
• Produce code that is clean, maintainable, and properly documented.
• Carry out unit testing, troubleshooting, and peer code reviews.
• Work closely with other teams to deliver reliable and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience in Python development.
• Direct, hands-on experience with FastAPI for building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with API integration, JWT/OAuth-based authentication, and asynchronous programming.
• Comfort with Git, CI/CD workflows, and Docker.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
• Must have proven hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Must have strong Python programming skills.
• Must have experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Open to immediate joiners only.
• Experience level expected: 3+ years.

Additional Information
